Eric “Hende” Henderson, CEO

Hende is known for his walk-the-talk product knowledge, unwavering positive attitude and the enthusiasm that he brings to everything he does. He has been on ski-mountaineering expeditions to Alaska, Everest, China’s Altai Mountains and has skied many notable lines in the Tetons. Hende has over twenty years of outdoor experience from the field to the boardroom. As an internationally-known outdoor marketer and communications leader, Hende is noted for insightful strategies, innovative execution and building community across multiple channels and touch-points. Proven in fostering client, media and vendor relationships.

When he’s not skiing, you can find Hende running on mountain trails around his Boulder house, puttering in the garden with his wife, or playing with his three kids.

Michael Eisenbrown, Communications Manager

Michael Eisenbrown is known as the go to source for technical product questions.  His passion for the outdoors was galvanized at a young age during a climbing trip to Europe and experiencing the mountain culture of Chamonix. Working as a ski technician in a local Golden, Colorado shop he honed his skills in customer satisfaction. He can break down complicated concepts into easily digestible information. When he is not in the office, you can find him skiing, mountain biking and enjoying time with his family of 5, 1 son, wife and 2 dogs. 

Megan Henderson, Accounting Director

Megan is bookkeeper for Meteorite PR and mom to Eric’s 3 children.  A former CSA farmer and presently a permaculture gardening enthusiast, Megan is also a freelance writer living in Boulder, Colorado. When she is not driving her kids around town in her beloved electric Leaf, she studies Neelakantha meditation, and practices any one of her favorite outside activities: skate skiing, biking, swimming, running, backcountry skiing or hiking.

Nick Firchau, Content Specialist

Nick Firchau serves as Meteorite’s content manager after nearly 20 years spent as a journalist and digital media professional. He spent six years as a reporter with the Chicago Sun-Times and later played a senior editorial role for MLSsoccer.com, the league website for Major League Soccer. He has also worked in leadership roles for StubHub and Seattle Sounders FC, and has served as a podcast producer for Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon and Nvidia, as well as 24 Hour Fitness, Pivotal, Spartan Races and Gladly.

Teddy Lyman, Account Coordinator

Teddy does a bit of everything around the office. He focuses on film tours for Teton Gravity Research, all things running for our clients, and reporting. He grew up in Massachusetts where he fell in love with sports, the outdoors and the environment from an early age, exploring the white mountains of New Hampshire with his parents and three brothers. On the weekends, early mornings and at lunch, you can find Teddy running, skiing, biking and climbing around Boulder and Colorado.

Susie von Mettenheim, Account Coordinator

Susie joins Meteorite as an experience industry veteran. She ran her own independent sales rep agency within the outdoor industry for 17 years, before joining the iconic outdoor brand Patagonia in their Boulder-based retail store for eight years. She also recently served as sales manager for SNEWS and The Voice with Boulder-based Active Interest Media. She lives in Nederland, CO on West Magnolia with her husband, Paul and two kids in college. She enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and trail running.
